Maria Harvey works with Dr Prem Mahendra at BMI The Priory Hospital. Her role involves working alongside the consultant and haematology CNS in coordinating care for all private haematology patients.

Lauren Frewin-Smith
Clinical Co-ordinator
Lauren is the clinical coordinator for Dr Mahendra at the Harborne HCA Hospital. She has secretarial experience across a range of medical specialities and supports consultants across the UK with their patients and clinics. She is based at the Harborne Hospital every Wednesday alongside Dr Mahendra and strives to make each patients journey to clinic and treatment stress-free and efficient. She has a background in Human Geographies with an MSCi from the University of Birmingham and has an interest in patient-focused care.

Sarah Hennessy
Medical Secretary
Sarah Hennessy has worked as a Haematology Secretary in the NHS for 18 years, starting back in 2008 working at Good Hope Hospital and moving over to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in October 2024. Sarah supports Dr Mahendra with secretarial work for patients at both The Harborne Hospital and The Priory Hospital.
